The term ‘Goal Of The Season Contender’ tends to get bandied around an awful lot over the course of the a season, but last night during QPR’s dramatic last-minute 3-2 victory over Liverpool (we’ll have more photos and highlights up later), we witnessed the kind of incredible strike that is almost definitely set to feature on MotD’s ten-strong shortlist come May.
Ten minutes after half-time and with the score still zip-zip, Bobby Zamora sent a goal-line clearance looping into the ether and Sebastian Coates, setting himself under the plummeting ball, duly ended the stalemate with an absolutely ridiculous scissor kick from 14 yards…
