  1. Max says:

It looks, from the front, as if there should be a cape tied on around the back. I’ve seen pictures of the back. Disappointingly, there is no cape.

  2. ds. says:

it said on the release statement that it’s a reference to the 1906 kit, which in turn was a reference to a yoke that dockers would wear. so, this is basically uber retro, which is fair enough considering warrior has never made a football kit before.

just hoping the third kit is a bit mental, marseille style.

  3. Jez says:

Looks a lot like evertons 2012/13 away kit…….

  4. Ron Burgundy says:

This is one of the worst kits Liverpool have had in recent years, and there definitely have been some clangers, the Black and Yellow contrast of recent seasons was working a whole lot better than this Black and Grey catastrophe, even Wiz Khalifa made a rap song about the Black and Yellow kit.

  5. plops says:

“Lolerpool”, as I believe the kids say.

  6. Mr. Chopper says:

Going off the “swag detail” on the new tracksuit top, I think the third kit’s going to be suitably rough.

  7. Fernando says:

I’m from Brazil, support Clube Náutico Capibaribe(white and red :)), love Liverpool, but this away kit looks so good to surf in the beach, not to play football, the home kit it’s amazing

  8. James says:

No purple one then or is that the third kit, please say it is.

  9. usrick says:

It really does look like a wetsuit, but that’s mostly because of the unfortunate black/grey colour combination. Pepe’s yellow version doesn’t look nearly as out of place.

And they both look better than the purple monstrosity.

  10. Murray says:

No word yet on whether or not their third kit is gonna be an ugly purple monstrosity?

  11. jj says:

as a liverpool fan of over 30 years i have to say what a horrible looking kit whats with the grey? do these kit designers actually show this to fans to get an idea on feedback or at least ask the club or players as i cant see for the life of me that they would give this the thumbs up

  12. jj says:

p.s if this kit was picked god knows what the other designs were like, cant see many shirt sales for this 1

  13. Anon says:

I really don’t see why everyone has such a problem with this one. I think it’s quite nice. I’ve certainly seen a lot worse.

  14. Ardil says:

It does look like a wetsuit. Appropriate for a club that is sinking.

  15. BSCW says:

Rather have this then some pipe piper jersey..

  16. Honestly like it. Don’t see why everyone is going mental

  17. Diver Boy says:

It is a wetsuit. They’ll need it because they’ll be drowning in the PL next season

  18. Bill says:

It looks like it was designed by a yank. Oh hang on there, it was, oops silly me. Lol.

  19. Zo says:

I am enraged!! The color scheme makes this look like a nun’s outfit!!
What a disappointment, as the Home kit is beautiful.

  20. RedManMars says:

Dear Lord. Having paid all that money you’d think Warrior would try to recoup some by designing kits that weren’t terrible. Why don’t more clubs go for a fan vote on the new kits?

  21. Johnny says:

New Liverpool away kit…with diving features designed to the exact specifications of diving liverpool athletes!

  22. smallhandsome says:

Honerstly i love this one. Black n greh are my favourate colors. I dont see anything is wrong with it. Now im giong to get one for myself.

  23. cicOuz says:

wow…..where hv da fire n all those thing along wit da birds thing…?hahaha….try another sample plz…. ;)

  24. boon says:

head choker.. not good omen… looks ugly too.

  25. McRico says:

LFC need a wetsuit if they are going down to the depths of the lower divisions.

Cardiff Red Dragons need to replace someone.

  26. Anonymous says:

They’ll need wetsuits on a sinking ship

  27. Joe says:

    Dernernernernernernerner… DOWNING!!!

  28. Des says:

    wetsuit – Suarez – diving

    Put the joke together yourself.

  29. Kopshirts says:

    Loving the diving gag Des!

Very poor follow-on from a brilliant home shirt. Can’t see the logic on removing the collar from the away shirt or the introduction of the grey ‘bib’ effect. Disappointing but looks better with full kit.

  30. Thats Correct says:

I hope this kit is of better quality than the Home one …… I washed mine once @ 30 degrees and the embroidered LFC and Warrior Logo shrunk and went all curled up when dry . My mate had the same thing happen, not quite so bad though … but his collar has started to come off …. May have just been a bad batch but they all look like they are cheaply made and have a tacky feel to them .I have also heard of others with similar complaints …..so be warned ! …. Just thinking if you are stood on the terraces wearing this shirt in the rain , do not be tempted to put a coat/whatever over your head , you will look like a NUN …… I am looking forward to the new 3rd kit though , either so i can consider buying it (quality allowing ) or for another laugh ! … As for now I will be sticking to my old Adidas / Reebok shirts ……
