Speaking to the BBC on Friday, Everton manager David Moyes made the 100% unarguable assertion that Luis Suarez has a penchant for chucking himself around all game every game and, when the Uruguayan ‘opened the scoring’ (read: clanged a wayward shot/cross in off Leighton Baines), he duly chose to celebrate with his usual level of class and decorum – playing up to Moyes’ comments, charging over to the Everton bench and staging a faux swan dive right in front of it…
To be fair to Moyes, he took it with good grace, telling the Beeb after the match: “I thought it was great. I actually quite liked that and it’s the sort of thing I’d have done if I’d have scored.”
