Football GIF: Luis Suarez Cries On Pitch After Crystal Palace Torpedo Liverpool’s Title Tilt

By Chris Wright

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Crystal Palace v Liverpool - Selhurst Park

Just when you thought this title run-in couldn’t get any more ridiculous, Crystal Palace scored three times in the last ten minutes to come back from 0-3 down to draw 3-3 with Liverpool and give their hopes of winning the league a swift toe-poke in the gonads.

It was all too much for L’il Luis Suarez, who was inconsolable after the final whistle at Selhurst Park…

Mmmm. We’d love to drink those tears like a hummingbird drinks nectar.

I feel bad for him :(
    and your mom too chris

  2. Tony says:

I assumed Alan Duffy started doing all the Liverpool-related articles because of how obviously anti-Liverpool/pro-Arsenal you are, yet you couldn’t resist being an absolute twat just once more before the end of the season, could you Chris?

    • Chris says:

@Tony: Yep, you’ve nailed it. All part of the rampant anti-Liverpool, pro-Arsenal media agenda we love to facilitate here on Pies.

  3. YNWA says:

Chris and Alan Duffy as i see when Liverpool in a situation like these events u are very happy. It just happens one in a thirty year. What if LFC plays for every year for championship. You get shit to your panties i think. Enjoy for your time about this. But dont forget that also Pro-Arsenal writers, form is temporary, class is permanent

  4. Soccer Steve says:

There, there Louie. This won’t affect your transfer to Madrid.

  5. Zam says:

    @Chris: Damn you ArsePies!

  6. Holland 1945 says:

Doesn’t matter what team you support. Anyone who doesn’t support racism, cheating or poor sportsmanship can enjoy the sight of Luis Suarez sobbing.

  7. Jinko says:

Can we do something about this doodle chap? Awfully annoying.

  8. Tony says:

@Chris: Look mate, you may not think you’re showing any bias, but clearly I’m not the only one who thinks you are. Maybe you should consider letting Alan or whoever else write the Liverpool articles for the sake of keeping any Liverpool supporters like myself as regular visitors to Pies. This is really a quality site and despite calling you a twat I actually meant to have you reconsider what you’re writing with respect to the people you serve rather than to insult you.

    • Chris says:

Tony: Now that just ain’t ever gonna happen in a month of Sundays, compadre.

No; I don’t hate Liverpool, yes; gently poking their more…”sensitive”…fans amuses me greatly (you gotta get your kicks somehow in this line of work) and, yes, I do despise Luis Suarez – which is perfectly valid for obvious reasons.

  9. Mr Sensible says:

I support United but it’s admirable to see a player clearly care so much, football needs more of it. I couldn’t see Rooney giving 2 shits these days.

  10. Fifa says:

Don’t feel bad for him at all. He has constantly undermined the integrity of the game with all his diving. Hope he never wins a title.

  11. Fat Nakago says:

I can’t say that I like Luis Suarez, but I truly respect him, especially after today. At least he gives a rats ass about what matters.

On the bright side, Chelsea still has a chance…..Oh. *sigh*

    KTBFFH!!

  12. Travis says:

I think the people complaining above need to get off their high horse a bit. The reason people take joy in Luis Suarez’s sadness is because he has shown himself time and time again to be a totally unlikable git.

    It’s pretty simple.

  13. fnarf bag says:

    @doodlemaster: *fnarf*

@liverpool fans: Didn’t we all laugh at John Terry? oh, and *fnarf*

    GROWN MAN CRIES AT WORK.

Liverpool fans living up to their reputation again in here I see. The siege mentality, the victim complex. Maybe if Suarez hadn’t got himself banned for a few games they’d be winning the league.

I’m sure that not all of them are so petulant and tiresome of course, it just seems the ones that are are very loud. It’s just a bit of fun, a bit “banter” as they say. Take it on the chin like a grown up and stop embarrassing yourselves.

  15. gamblino says:

I wanted Liverpool to win the league but this capitulation is turning out to be better value just to see all the Liverpool fans crying and whinging like babies! Hilarious.

@ Tony; liverpool fans. Offended by Everything. Ashamed of Nothing!

  18. Holland 1945 says:

As an Everton fan, I just really hate having to share a city with these ‘always the victim’ morons. 100% hubris, 0% humility.

  19. Si says:

Pies is biased against Liverpool? Behave. The site is equal opportunities when it comes to mocking muppets and general fails.

The fact that Liverpool are on the verge of doing a 1995/96 Newcastle *is* amusing for the neutrals, as the reaction of Liverpool fans is bordering on utterly delusion.

Everton threw the game against Manchester City? It was not Gerrard’s fault that Liverpool lost against Chelsea (Jose parked the bus but managed to score two goals)? That Night in Crystanbul was anything other than due to Rodgers’ tactical naivety?

For neutrals – and the non-victims of us – these things *are* funny. It is just a game. And a cruel one at that.

The world laughed at Kevin Keegan when my lot bottled it back in the day. People have been crying with tears all season due to Manchester United’s utter collapse. Liverpool fans mocked Terry for crying last week and lambasted him on Twitter for it.

Football is, as they say, a funny old game.

Unfortunately, by being sore (possibly, depending on the next few games) losers, Liverpool fans are really beginning to annoy everyone else. Everything is always someone else’s fault. A word of advice: get your own house in order before flinging poo at everyone else.

And more importantly, get a sense of humour. Life is too short.

(Oddly, for the record, I wish Liverpool all the best for the next few games. The Premiership has been really exciting this season, which is in no small part down to the YNWA army, and I am thoroughly looking forward to this weekend.)

@Si, WELL SAID SIR! I was just constructing a comment myself then glanced through the comments and realised you’d said everything I was about to. Here here!!
