Soccer - FA Women's Super League - Semi Final - Liverpool Ladies v Everton Ladies - Select Security Stadium

Having gone 0-1 up through Amanda Da Costa’s first goal of the Women’s Super League season, Liverpool Ladies eventually found themselves pegged back when Birmingham City Ladies’ Hannah Keryakoplis capitalised on some slapdash goalkeeping from Liverpool’s Libby Stout to thrash an equaliser into a completely vacated net from around 40-yards out.

However, choosing to fight fire with fire, Liverpool skipper Fara Williams almost instantly put her side back in front when she turned and walloped one in direct from the subsequent kick-off.

Skip to the 1:18-mark for all the fun and frolics…

Williams’ goal proved to be the winner, with reigning champions Liverpool racking up a 1-2 away victory that keeps them within a single point of WSL leaders Chelsea with two games left apiece.
