Michael Owen has more than his fair share of detractors, with his charisma-free BT Sport punditry irking the bejaysus out of football fans the length and breadth of the country.
However, the former England striker sank to new depths on the day Dutch master Johan Cruyff passed away.
In a cheap and cynical click-bait operation, Owen tweeted a link to his Sportlobster article with a teaser concerning his recent meeting with Cruyff. The gormless buffoon even managed to spell the Dutch icon’s name wrong.
