As the old adage goes, a fool and his money are soon parted – and never has it been proven more times over than when it comes to professional footballers.
In this instance, it’s Liverpool’s Spanish full-back Alberto Moreno and the rather hideous new tattoo he proudly showed off on his Instagram account this afternoon.
Pies can only imagine the thought process and conversation with the tattoo artist that led to this monstrous creation seeing the light of day.
Just consider a grown man walking into a tattoo parlour and asking for this mess…
It’s not that the tattoo – inked by Franco Tattoo in Liverpool – is terrible per se, it’s the concept itself that is making our heads burst. What a time to be alive, ladies and gents.
Assuming that is Moreno’s thigh we’re looking at, we can only wonder just what his manager, Jurgen Klopp, thinks of it all.
He’ll probably go out and get one for himself, the wacky sod.
