As the rest of the Liverpool lot continue to gear up for the Europa League final on Wednesday evening, one man who won’t be featuring for Jurgen Klopp’s side any time soon is Mamadou Sakho.
Indeed, the French centre-half is currently suspended having flubbed a drug test in late April, shortly after he scored a crucial goal in Liverpool’s dramatic comeback victory over Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.
Still, a gaggle of fans decided to pay homage to Sakho’s predicament with a banner produced especially for the grand finale in Basel, proudly posting a photo of their pithy handiwork on Twitter for all to admire…
