At long last, Liverpool fans with no semblance of reverence or self-awareness will be able to share a pint with Bill Shankly, some 35 years after his death.

Thanks to a special booth installed in the newly-opened Shankly Hotel in Victoria Street, Liverpool, fans can spend a bit of quality pub time with a crude, weird and very definitely unsettling hologram of the famously tee-total Scot…

The questionable holographic venture has been led by Shankly’s grandson, Chris Carline, with the backing of his mother (i.e, Shankly’s daughter) Jeanette Carline.

Er…if Chris Carline is Shankly’s grandson I sincerely hope his mother is Shankly’s daughter, not his sister. Otherwise this slightly creepy article has just become very creepy…

He looks like Parappa The Rapper

The guy on the far left is Chris Lawler, ex Liverpool right back. Nice chap did a couching course under him. Doesn’t like Kenny Dalglish because he sold him
