The Toffees were lucky to end the game with 11 men after midfielder Ross Barkley only picked up a yellow card for a horrendous challenge on Jordan Henderson.

The win sees Jurgen Klopp’s side go to within six points of runaway leaders Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
Ronald Koeman’s Everton, on the other hand, find themselves in ninth place.
