As we’ve seen many a time before, a decent football match cannot claim to have truly passed into the pantheon of the all-time greats before it is immortalised in Lego form.
Thankfully, after what we can only assume was several days of infuriating graft, the 2018 Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid has received the treatment.
The stop-motion animation is a full six minutes of highlights that cover all the memorable moments – Sergio Ramos nobbling Mohamed Salah, Loris Karius Slapstick Error #1, Gareth Bale’s stupendous overhead kick, Loris Karius Slapstick Error #2 – and all in painstaking, brick-by-brick detail.
Pretty good, no?
