Congratulations are most definitely due to Mohamed Salah, who picked up his second straight African Player of the Year award at the CAF Gala in Dakar, Senegal, on Tuesday night.

The Liverpool forward pipped teammate Sadio Mane into second place, with Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completing the podium.

While collecting their trophies up on stage, both Salah and Mane were cajoled into performing a little victory dance alongside Senegalese pop icon Youssou N’Dour – with one player looking slightly more awkward than the other…

More of a ‘reluctant arrhythmic sway’ than a dance, but you get the gist.
