Thanks to a poor start, which has left the club with only a single point, Liverpool have to win all three of their last matches beginning with two home games against Besiktas and Porto before a potential decider away to Marseille.
The cliché of ‘three cup finals’ is the obvious war cry and Jamie Carragher is confident the club can stage another unlikely comeback in Europe. “We aim to win all three, but let’s concentrate on beating Besiktas first before we start thinking about what we do in the last game in Marseille.
“We must win this one, then move on to beat Porto. That’s two home games and our crowd will play a big part, then we will think about what we must do in Marseille,” he said.
Will Rafa rotate in the right direction? Can the club start turning draws into wins? Or, could the Scousers soon be favourites for the UEFA Cup?

Carra had better keep his hands to himself in the box if he wants to win.
A European ref wouldn’t be so blind to his special brand of “hard-working English play”

I think they’ll win both their home games but fall at the last hurdle with a draw against Marseille
