    Sorry to seemingly jump on the bandwagon but i would of had Bellamy just ahead of charming Cristiano prior to the world cup, however I think that the fact Cristiano can pollarize opinion on a world stage gives him the edge. Funny to see Anelka raising his head again at the same time this question is being asked!

    He’s not even the most irritating player in Wales. Step forward Mr R Savage.
    An annoying tw*t (insert your vowel of choice) he may be, but he’s not worthy to polish the boots of such luminaries as Figo, Anelka, Van Bommel or Winkeraldo.
