Cracking bit of wind-up merchantship from the Bayern Munich fans at the Etihad last night, who followed a rousing chorus of “Football’s Coming Home” with a celebratory Bavarian version of Man City’s appropriated “Poznan” goal celebration behind Joe Hart’s goal.

Just look at the faces of the City stewards…

Isn’t it spelled with Z – “Poznan”? As the city, where the MC fans took that thing from?

  2. Geraldo says:

I recently saw an irate Facebook comment from a Celtic fan along the lines of “City stole our Poznan celebration…we were the first to do it.” No further questions M’Lud…

  3. Wilson says:

The look of despair on Joe Hart’s face, priceless.

  4. Sultan says:

    Lol this is priceless

  5. smrc says:

They “stole” it from Lech Poznan’s fans when they played them couple of years ago in Europa League. But since they give the credit by calling it “poznan” i don’t think we can talk about stealing. Funny thing is, first they saw poznan’s fans doing that dance, they were mocking it.

  6. Jarren says:

As a United fan I find this immeasurably pleasing.

  7. Mokum says:

You people know it’s a fairly common thing in continental stadia, right? Certainly not a Lech Poznan only thing, and even Celtic have done it for a while before City.

  8. Anabelle says:

Not a fan of City, but that was disrespectful. I despise Bayern more than any team in the planet.

Ugh! I’m still mad that god*****d Lukaku missed that god*****d penalty against those bastards.

How can a tank of a man kicks the ball like a kitten? A blind one-legged striker could’ve done better.

@Anabelle: “Not a fan of City, but that was disrespectful.” That’s the point. Ze Germans have never been all chocolate and ice cream.
