As you’re no doubt aware, today is ‘Back To The Future Day’, i.e, October 21st, 2015 – the very date that Marty McFly and Doc Brown set their flux capacitor to visit in Back To The Future II.

By this time, we were all supposed to be flitting around on hoverboards, eating dehydrated pizza and communicating via fax machines. Sadly all three concepts remain, at time of writing at least, works of complete fantasy.

Anyway,  rather than getting bogged down in all of the technological advances that have failed to materialise since the movie’s release in 1989, Man City have celebrated this momentous day by having Bacary Sagna recreate the original Back To The Future trailer.

Why? Why the bloody hell not…

Lovely stuff.

Here’s the original teaser trailer, for comparison’s sake…

Fine work, though it definitely looks as though City’s production budget may have been a little bigger.

They dun goofed… it’s the flash first, and THEN the fiery tire tracks behind it. Is it so hard to notice such things?

The way they showed it, before the car vanishes it has tire fire. I’m not sure that’s healthy.
