Employees of the BBC, especially their various news teams, are strongly encouraged to have no opinion either way on any matter whatsoever such is their stringent quest for absolute impartiality, so you can take it as read that BBC News anchor Clive Myrie spent Wednesday night in the subterranean dungeons that sprawl beneath the corporation’s new media citadel in Salford Quays.

While throwing over to his BBC Sport colleague for a match report, Myrie – a devout Man City fan according to his Twitter profile and Wiki – couldn’t contain the laughter as his thoughts turned to all the “upset people in Manchester” and then “all the others who were quite happy” at United being knocked out of the competition by Real Madrid the previous evening…

Myrie hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

You just couldn’t help it could you @ leppystew, you just couldn’t help being bitter. It comes as as natural instinct from being a ManU fan. Once denied, you start throwing tantrums and look for someone to put the blame on and then becoming grouchy. Its a standard personal feature of most ManU fans.

Citeh ‘fans’ calling United supporters ‘bitter’ is a refreshing dose of unexpected irony.

Haha. I really want to know what the Producer said into thier earpieces now to set them both off!!

  6. Grant says:

Well, when they have SAF as an example, it’s hard to blame them for throwing temper tantrums. I have a lot of respect for him as a manager, but his childish petulance is disgusting at times.
