Employees of the BBC, especially their various news teams, are strongly encouraged to have no opinion either way on any matter whatsoever such is their stringent quest for absolute impartiality, so you can take it as read that BBC News anchor Clive Myrie spent Wednesday night in the subterranean dungeons that sprawl beneath the corporation’s new media citadel in Salford Quays.
While throwing over to his BBC Sport colleague for a match report, Myrie – a devout Man City fan according to his Twitter profile and Wiki – couldn’t contain the laughter as his thoughts turned to all the “upset people in Manchester” and then “all the others who were quite happy” at United being knocked out of the competition by Real Madrid the previous evening…
Myrie hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
