Bit of good news on the injury front, as three important players are nearing their respective return to first-team action.
Crock No. 1: Veteran Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs is reportedly set to make a shock return to the bench in time for United’s clash with rivals Liverpool on Sunday.
Giggs has been sidelined with a broken arm sustained during United’s draw with Villa over a month ago but, after coming through a number of ‘contact’ training sessions, has been passed fit to play – albeit with a protective cast in place.
Crock No. 2: Arsenal talisman ‘Cesc Fabregas has returned to training after twanging a hamstring against Burnley on March 6th.
The Gunner’s captain should be fit to make his comeback against West Ham this weekend.
Crock No. 3: Winger Aaron Lennon is poised to give both Tottenham and England a lift with the news that he is set to resume training next week.
Lennon has been out for over two months with a groin injury, but is now convalescing ahead of schedule and may be available for the visit of Chelsea on April 17th.
