Having spotted that Paul Scholes was providing mumbles as part of ITV’s pitch-side punditry panel for their game against Real Madrid last night, a large section of the Liverpool fans in the Bernabeu stayed behind to give the Manchester United alumni some obligatory goading.
As a hearty chant of “You ginger Manc tw*t” echoed around the rapidly-emptying stadium, Scholes cottoned on and gave the heckling Reds fans a sly wave or two…
Quite why you’d be slanging Scholes while you’ve got Adrian Chiles RIGHT THERE is frankly beyond us.
