Manchester United have agreed a new three-year contract with Ashley Young.

The new deal is seen as a reward for Young’s performances last season. The winger started more league games in 2014-15 than in his previous three years at the club.

Of course, the highlight was not Young’s sharp shooting (13 goals in 115 appearances), rather that of a bird who dropped a turd in Ashley’s mouth

The former Aston Villa, who signed for United in 2011, will earn £120,000-a-week plus bonuses which is nice work if you can get it.

@llll I doubt you watched United much last year, because Young was immense. It would have been hard to believe a year ago, but the lad has earned this. Completely reborn under LVG.

Bring us more awesome play & sublime goals next season mate!
