Oh jolly dee, the signings are coming thick and fast today!
As of a few short moment ago, good old Bastian Pigstacker is now officially a Manchester United player…

Schweinsteiger is the first ever German player on United’s books and joins from Bayern Munich for a reported fee of £14.4million – which, we think you’ll agree, represents an absolute bloody bargain in this current hyper-transfer climate.
Upping sticks after 17 years at Bayern, Schweini (who is still only 30) is an exquisite midfielder with a vast reservoir of experience at the very highest level and a hunger to get back to his best.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bayern Munich, it has been an incredible journey and I didn’t take the decision to leave lightly,” Schweini told the United website.
“Manchester United is the only club that I would have left Munich for. I feel ready for this new and exciting challenge in what I regard as the most competitive league in the world and I am looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal again.”
With Morgan Schneiderlin set to follow, Manchester United are on the verge of possessing the most periphrastic, pleonastic, sesquipedalian midfield pairing in all of Christendom. Triple word scores abound!
We’re loving United’s business modus operandi at the moment. It’s Louis van Gaal and Ed Woodward going totally mad and just buying everything that’s not nailed down!
FFP can go and take a long walk off a short pier. We gots the TV money now bittttttchesssss!
