Transfer Balls: Rounding up the day’s football tittle-tattle so you don’t have to…

Pedro Eager For Man Utd Move

The Independent reports (via Marca) that Pedro is eager to join Manchester United. The Barcelona winger has struggled for game time since the blossoming of the Messi-Neymar-Suarez Holy Trinity and is looking for a move away from the Nou Camp.

According to reports, United have already entered talks over the player and are willing to spend up to £23million on the 27-year-old. With Angel Di Maria headed for Paris, Spanish international Pedro would certainly add more creativity and experience to the Red Devils’ attack.

Gunners Keen On Callejon

Spanish wideman Jose Callejon could be on his way to the Premier League, according to the Metro. The Napoli attacker is apparently being tracked by both Arsenal and Chelsea, with the Gunners in the driving seat to sign the 28-year-old.

Chelsea are preparing a big of £15.5million for the Spanish international, but apparently Arsene Wenger is planning to beat his very best friend Jose Mourinho to the attacker’s signature.

Citizens Still Want De Bruyne

Manchester City aren’t giving up on Kevin De Bruyne, according to the Irish Independent, with the Citizens readying a £40million bid for the playmaker. The Citizens Director of Football Txiki Begiristain travelled to London at the weekend to meet the Belgian midfielder’s agent and his club Wolfsburg, who were over for the Emirates Cup.

However, if City are to secure the services of the 24-year-old former Chelsea man, they may have to cough up £57million, with Wolfsburg in no hurry to sell their star player, according to the Mirror.
