Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has signed an agreement with Manchester United to become their next boss, this according to stories emanating in the Spanish press this morning.

El Confidencial are reporting that Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has “done his job” in securing the United post for his client.

Indeed, they go as far as claiming that Mourinho has already signed some kind of agreement with United, with the club now left to decided whether they replace Louis van Gaal now or at the end of the season.

Decisions, decisions.

I hope it is true but would you believe in a spanish report? I don’t think so

  5. Jarren says:

So is this the latest “thing”, hiring a new manager while the current one is still in the job?

    How very disrespectful.

As a United supporter I do not know what to think about Mourinho taking the reigns.

Of course he would give the players a boost initially, but if even the Chelsea players ended up playing like shite just to boot him out why would it be any different with us?

Is the plan to have him for a year or two, shove Giggs out to a Championship side to sharpen his managerial teeth then sack Jose and bring Giggs back before it all goes tits up once again?

    GAAAAAH.
