In the last-ever cup tie at Upton Park, West Ham failed to mark the occasion with a win, instead going down to 2-1 to Manchester United and thus missing out on an FA Cup semi-final appearance. With the score at 2-0, courtesy of a cracker from Marcus Rashford and a close-range effort from Marouane Fellaini, Hammers’ captain got rather frustrated with the perceived time-wasting of Ander Herrera.

With the Spanish midfielder taking an age to leave the pitch with the United physio, a frustrated Nobel picked up the United star and literally carried him to the touchline. Off to the naughty step for Ander…

James Tomkins did get one back for the Eastenders, however, there was no repeat of their Andy Carroll-inspired comeback against Arsenal at the weekend.

Here’s that fine Rashford opener…

While few expect Louis van Gaal to still be in charge at Old Trafford come the start of the next season, an FA Cup win would certainly give the Red Devils’ fans something to shout about at the end of a dismal campaign.

Haha, fair play to Noble. First time I’ve seen that, and even as a United supporter I applaud the intent.

But wow, what a finish by young Rashford. Simply delicious.
