Louis van Gaal’s rather prosaic brand of football has hardly endeared himself to Man Utd fans. However, when it comes to press conferences and post-match interviews, the Dutch tactician is a master of entertainment.
After the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Sunday, van Gaal discussed Marouane Fellaini’s contentious tussle with Robert Huth, which saw the lanky Belgian appear to elbow his opponent in the face. However, the United boss was quick to defend his player, claiming that Fellaini had had his sizeable head of hair pulled first.
Van Gaal even offered to pull BBC interviewer Manish Bhasin’s hair before claiming that hair-pulling is only acceptable during ‘sex masochism’. Oh those pervy Dutch!
Van Gaal was then at it again with Sky Sports’ Geoff Shreeves, this time apparently actually pulling the interviewer’s hair to make his point.
Another Louis classic. Pulling hair. #mufchttps://t.co/3SsfZBWb0f

We’ll miss these kind of shenanigans when he’s gone (probably in the summer)!
