Zlatan Ibrahimovic made it an impressive 11 Premier League goals in 16 appearances after the veteran Swede bagged a brace in Manchester United’s 2-0 win away to West Brom.

However, in a feisty clash at the Hawthorns, the United hitman was arguably lucky not to see red for a rather meaty challenge on Craig Dawson.

Ibrahimovic’s first goal of the game came after just five minutes with the former PSG star heading home after a peach of a cross from Jesse Lingard…

On 24 minutes, Ibrahimovic launched himself into a challenge with Craig Dawson, with the 35-year-old flooring the West Brom man and getting nowhere near the ball. However, ref Anthony Taylor brandished only a yellow for the foul…

The Baggies pushed for an equaliser but it was the Red Devils who would score again, with Ibrahimovic powering into the box before firing in off none other than Dawson…

After the hour-mark, both Salomon Rondon and Marcos Rojo were booked for a clash which saw the West Brom striker get away with slapping the United defender in the face….

The game also saw Northern Ireland international Chris Brunt pick up a booking after taking out Marcus Rashford with a cynical barge…

After all that palavar, Jose Mourinho’s side would see out the game to make it 10 games unbeaten, with star performer Ibrahimovic making it 16 goals for the season in all competitions. Not bad for an old man!

As for Tony Pulis’ West Brom, they stay one place and seven points behind the Red Devils in seventh.
