Manchester extended their winning streak to seven games after a 2-0 win away to West Ham. However, the Red Devils were rather fortunate with a couple of decisions from the officials.

The first controversial decision by Mike Dean came on 15 minutes, with the spotlight-loving ref sending off Sofiane Feghouli after the West Ham attacker was judged to have fouled Phil Jones.

However, the decision seemed harsh, with both players going in strongly and Feghouli hardly looking to hurt his opponent. The West Ham man did rather jump into the challenge but a yellow would have sufficed…

With a man-advantage, the Red Devils obviously dominated proceedings. Antonio Valencia really should’ve scored just after the half-hour mark, only for Darren Randolph to pull off a superb save…

In the second-half, Michail Antonio missed a great chance to put his side ahead.

Soon after that fluff, United finally took the lead, with Juan Mata deftly slotting home after great work from sub Marcus Rashford…

Then, Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his superb run of form by firing home on 78 minutes. However, once again the Hammers found themselves on the wrong end of some poor officiating,, with the big Swede clearly offside…

The win sees Jose Mourinho’s charges go level on points with fifth-placed Tottenham.

As for West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, he’ll be furious at the two decisions which settled the contest.
