Manchester United secured a last-gasp draw at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic converting a spot-kick after Everton’s Ashley Williams had literally handed the hosts a share of the spoils.
Phil Jagielka opened the scoring for the high-flying Toffees on 22 minutes, with the centre-half flicking the ball home after poor defending from United.
The hosts pushed for an equaliser with both Ander Herrera and sub Paul Pogba hitting the frame of the goal.
Ibrahimovic then had a goal controversially ruled out for offside.

However, overall, the Red Devils were poor against an Everton side who could have scored more.
Then, with the Toffees looking to be headed for a fabulous victory, sub Luke Shaw saw his goal-bound shot handled by Ashley Williams, with a penalty and red card the inevitable outcome.
Ibrahimovic, not surprisingly, coolly converted the spot-kick to give United a share of the spoils.
However, with yet another home draw for Jose Mourinho and co., they still look anything but the finished article despite the huge money splurged on the squad.
United stay fifth with 54 points, four points behind Man City while Everton are seventh, on 51 points.
