Ahead of this evening’s Manchester derby, a group of moronic United supporters took to the streets last night to vandalise an Eastlands pub with graffiti referring to late City player Marc-Vivien Foe.

Foe played in both games between the two clubs  during the 2002/03 season before collapsing during Cameroon’s Confederations Cup semi-final in June of 2003 due to hereditary heart condition – eventually passing away 45 minutes later.

The mindless abuse was sprawled on the walls of Mary D’s pub, which sits in close proximity to the plaque which City placed in their memorial garden in Foe’s honour shortly after his tragic death.

Shocking, just shocking. The sheer stupidity of the human race never ceases to amaze me.
