Also in attendance at United’s training session were the returning Michael’s Owen and Carrick, Owen Hargreaves (who trained with the reserves after undergoing knee surgery in Germany recently) and Ji-Sung Park, though Anderson, Nemanja Vidic, Anders Lindegaard and Jonny Evans were all notable by their absence.
