This was always going to be a momentous clash and boy, did it live up to the pre-game hype, with Tottenham and Arsenal producing an action-packed affair.

The hosts got off to the better start, but found David Ospina (in for the injured Petr Cech) in fine form. Then, on 39 minutes, the Gunners took the lead, with Aaron Ramsey delightfully flicking home after good work from Danny Welbeck and Hector Bellerin…

However, not long after the re-start, The Arsenalising begun as usual, with the already booked Francis Coquelin sent off for a silly challenge on Harry Kane.

Within seven minutes, the Lilywhites were ahead, via Toby Alderweireld and then this superb effort from Harry Kane (after more gangly dawdling from Per Mertesacker)…

However, rather than capitulate in classic style, Arsenal fought back, with Mohamed Elneny superb in midfield. Then, on 76 minutes, Alexis Sanchez ended his recent goal drought after another assist from Bellerin…

Eric Dier was then very lucky not to pick up a second yellow after hauling back sub Oliver Giroud, but ultimately the cracking game would end 2-2, although BT Sport viewers won’t be too pleased to have seen their coverage buggered by ‘technical issues’ right at the end.

Overall, the draw keeps Arsene Wenger’s men in the title race while Tottenham go two points behind Leicester City (before their 3pm kick-off).
