David Beckham has begun work on his brief to save soccer in the USA – by playing American football. Becks donned a New Orleans Saints helmet, pads and kit to play with the Saints’ running back Reggie Bush. The stunt was part of an Adidas advertising campaign. It was in a similar style to the rugby adverts of a couple of years ago which saw Becks and Jonny Wilkinson swapping sports (see video below). Bush tries his hand (or should that be foot?) at soccer while a hilariously broad-shouldered Beckham learnt all about field goals. [Via The Offside]
