With Nike pandering to the masses with adverts showing Wayne Rooney pelting the ball against a man in a jockstrap, Umbro have decided to go all arthouse on us with this commercial for their new boots. Deco is on board to express the virtues of Umbro’s waterproof technology by indulging in a little underwater football. Paul Nugent, director of global marketing at Umbro said: “We briefed exposure to create an image that would communicate the product benefits of the Ultra SX as simply as possible in an engaging and emotive way, we believe we have achieved that.”
