I’m sorry where’s the big picture of hiddink’s successful face and macca’s pudding face. He really should go on a josé course of half time management!

    Stevie G is rubbish

The tactics were again all wrong in this match. As I’m sure most of you saw on MOTD’s analysis, Joe cole ended up being a left back for most of the game. Why the hell was Lescott making his first start in such a crucial game?? Crouch should have come on sooner, he would have really troubled Russia’s twicthy defence. There were some notable performances such as Sol and Gareth Barry, but we let Russia play too much football and didn’t make the right changes at the right time. Downing? I’m sure Hiddink was laying a brick when he saw him come onto the pitch!
