Former Match of the Day (and indeed Countdown) host Des Lynam has reinvented himself as a Santa Claus impersonator. Des may have sacrificed his reputation as a respectable presenter and darling of the blue rinse brigade, but he will be ho-ho-hoing all the way to the bank for his portrayal of Setanta Claus.
