Teutonic Tuesday – Bayern Munich back and Sebastian Kehl’s back

Bundesliga is back! The enormous winter break is over at last and the football has recommenced. Bayern Munich survived fear over their rustiness to beat Hansa Rostock 1-2 on Friday evening. The familiar duo of Franck Ribery and Luca Toni grabbed their goals.
Werder Bremen remain second in the table despite their 1-2 defeat at home to VfL Bochum. Bayer Leverkusen moved up to third with a 2-3 at struggling Cottbus. They overtook Hamburg who drew 1-1 against Hannover. The real story of the day came from Duisburg where Borussia Dortmund’s Sebastian Kehl inspired his team to come from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 by scoring with his back.
