Blind World Cup under way… but are France bending the rules?

Continuing on an alternative World Cup theme, the World Championships of Soccer for the Blind has kicked off in Argentina. The tournament got under way on Friday and will conclude this Thursday. Brazil, Paraguay, England, Spain, France, Japan, South Korea and the hosts are all competing. Although the games are generally played in good spirit, we can’t help but think France are cheating. Surely a team including Christophe Dugarry, Mikael Silvestre, Franck Ribery and David Trezeguet is pushing it a bit…
