Lovely touch from Newcastle United, who used their official match programme for Tuesday night’s Premier League clash with Manchester United to pay tribute to their former goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek, who passed away at the tragically young age of 47 shortly before New Year.
With a memorial service set to take place in Newcastle the following day, the club produced a brilliant 1990s-style programme cover for the game which featured Srnicek draped in that famous ‘Tyne skyline’ kit he wore so well during his 150 appearances for the Toon…
