Is he any good? The young defender is a graduate of the Clairefontaine youth academy, which is rarely a bad trait for a French footballer to have. Kevin Keegan may not always be renowned for his defensive signings but Everton were also interested in capturing the France under-21 international. And Newcastle have a grand tradition of French centre-backs beginning with ‘B’ and ending with ‘song’ so Sebastien is bound to make an impression one way or another. Athletic and quick, but probably lacking the experience that the Toon Army had been hoping for as King Kev strengthened his defence.
