It’s a great time to be a Leicester fan right now. Not only are they on the cusp of pulling off one of the biggest shocks in English football history, but they’re doing so in style with fast, flowing counter-attacking football. They are a joy to watch.
So, with that in mind, spare a thought for the unnamed supporter who has missed out on Leicester’s most memorable campaign after his wife convinced him to give up his season ticket after last year.
I guess my husband’s overriding memory of this historic #LCFC run will be me, back in April, persuading him not to renew his season ticket.

Tune in on the final day of the season to see if our marriage survives that decision.

Timing is everything, as they say.
To put a positive spin on things, it’s entirely possible that this unlucky and unfortunate individual may have been a bad luck charm all this time.
Here’s hoping the couple do something nice with the money they saved.
Perhaps a guided tour of the Leicester trophy room is in order if the Foxes do go on to pull off the shock of the century.
