Howard Webb & Rest Of EURO 2012 Referees Limber Up At Training Camp In Warsaw (Photos)

By Chris Wright

Here we see the referees for Euro 2012, including everyone’s favourite follically-sparse copper-cum-whistle jockey, Howard Webb, limbering up for the tournament at a special training workshop in Warsaw – wearing, what must be said, one of the ugliest kits we’ve seen for, oh, at least a fortnight now.

It says here that the three-day course will feature an itinerary of fun referee activities; we’re talking examining video recordings of matches, holding discussions on the latest interpretation of rules, synchronised whistle blowing sessions and rigorous daily physical tests to cap off all the merriment.

Centre Parcs it ain’t.

All this under the unblinking glare of UEFA’s King of Refs, Pierluigi Collina (who may or may not be visible in the background of the fourth photo)…
