Cracking little Sunday morning feelgood story here, with the news that Bayern Munich have answered a cry for help from a Macedonian school in their continuing attempts to provide adequate football facilities for their pupils.
Writing on behalf of the school in Dollogozha, Bayern’s worldwide fanclub politely requested that the Bavarian club donate 100 of the removed seats that were replaced during this summer’s modernisation of the South Stand at the Allianz Arena.
Instead, Bayern sent 255 stadium seats to the school and even paid for them to be installed around the perimeter of their football pitch…
The school then staged a ceremonial mini tournament to break in the new seats, which kicked off with a little choreo in the newly-furnished stands…
Here’s how the stadium looked before the renovations…
Wunderbar.
