Leicester City have appointed Claudio Ranieri as their new first team manager…

The Foxes said they were holding out for a big name and they got themselves one…ish.

The Tinkerman, who you may remember from his often-discombobulating time in charge of Chelsea in the early 2000’s, has signed a three-year deal at the King Power and replaces Nigel Pearson, who was fired over a inappropriate rimjob in June.

Ranieri’s last post pre-Leicester was in charge of the Greece national side but was sacked four games into a two-year contract as a direct result of a humiliating EURO 2016 qualifying loss to the Faroe Islands.

  1. Mr. Frisby says:

Oh Nigel. Stick to the appropriate rimjobs and you’ll get along just fine mate.

  2. Jarren says:

It’s quite clear to assume that Leicester are aiming for a top 15 finish.

To be honest, do they really expect anything more?
