Snapshot: Cristiano Ronaldo Tonks Ball Into Fans’ Face, Gives Him A Shirt (With Video)

By Chris Wright

During Real Madrid’s 4-0 routing of the Royal Arab Kingdom of Getafe last night, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick (thus taking his league tally to a frankly astounding 36 goals in the process) though the game was perhaps more memorable for what happened during the 16th minute.

With the game still goalless, Ronaldo cleared a ball into touch which caught an unfortunate fan square in the boat race, leaving the poor guy with a bust conk and claret all over his handkerchief…

After the final whistle, a topless Ronaldo waded over the advertising boards to return to the scene of the crime, handing the supporter an apology in the shape of a photograph, a little man-hug action and a crisp new Real Madrid shirt.

How sweet. That’s one to tell the grandkids.

    Telling you…

Cristiano has grown a ton while in real, from the antics he had at UTD.
Less diving, more mature, better player.

PL is not the same without him amd Mourinho

PS. I think he needs to lose some weight

HHHHMMMM, something suspicous about this!!!! It must have been planned half time coz staff member brough a new kit to the fan. Still a nice idea for braking the guys nose ronaldo :)

  4. Jonas says:

To be honest, didn’t look like he had a clue why he was giving the guy his shirt. All orchestrated by the PR guys!

  5. Fernando says:

Still fakin’ it tho: that wasn’t his shirt he gave, it was a new one handed to him by the old dude. Which is fine, but why take off his own – so as to pretend to give the guy the shirt off his back?

  6. ande says:

@Fernando: you won’t believe it, but it’s already really hot in Spain, hence he’s shirtless.

  7. Fernando says:

Thanks for that point of information. It’s only HT, no one else has their shirt off. Unlikely.

  8. Anglomadrista says:

It was at full time not half time Fernando.

  9. ELizabeth says:

Maybe he wanted to keep his match shirt, considering he scored a hatrick in the game…

  10. marajonna says:

Looks to me like the real bosses wanted to keep the record breaking shirt (he overtook puskas as the highest scorer in a single season last night) for their cavernous trophy room/wing.

@fernando he’s done a good thing, give him his due!

  12. Raul says:

i think that it would have been better to give the guy the shirt he used and the new one

  13. Ben says:

He was probably happy to give him his shirt off his back but the PR People weren’t. The shirt he handed over may have been signed etc.

  14. D says:

Wow Ronaldo not being a prick. Surprise!

  15. Colski says:

No homo but Cristiano is looking pretty damn hench!

  16. V says:

Are you guys serious? He was given a clean, unused shirt for him to give to the man.
