Dundee United striker David Goodwillie (must…resist…) has been charged in connection with an alleged rape that took place at a New Years Eve party in West Lothian.

Goodwillie (must…resist…) was charged after police received complaints from a 24-year-old woman a couple of days later.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said:

“A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault on a 24-year-old woman in Armadale on January 2nd. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.”

Goodwillie (who’s Dundee United teammate David Robertson was also interviewed by police as a potential witness, but has not been charged) is now scheduled to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court at a later date.

Bad willie. Bad, bad willie (I couldn’t resist).

This is utterly disgusting, it hurts my eyes ! At least, David is already accustomed to the ‘County Jail’ orange.
By the way, Dundee are bottom in the Scottish Division One. Dundee Utd are a big success in the SPL. Don’t insult my nephew, please.

    BAD WILLIE!!
Seriously though, How many footballers are charged with rape and how many have been convicted? Probably just another woman out to make money. There should be a law that if you cry rape and the allegation is proved false, then you pay the price and suffer the same penalty that the accused would have got if found guilty.
If he did it then that is terrible, but history is on his side. Too many footballers get accused by money-grabbing whores.
