Rumours are circulating in Italy at the moment that Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is planning on selling the Serie A club and as such found himself descended upon in the street by a camera-toting journalist from local paper Il Secolo XIX.

The Genoa boss didn’t take too kindly to this prying and approached the reporter, swiftly kicked him in the shins, nabbed his camera and hurled it against the floor…

Preziosi has since (sort of) apologised for his conduct, telling Football Italia:

“I removed a camera that was position in an improper fashion. I already apologised and said I’ll pay for the camera. However, it’s not right to ambush people.

“My reaction might be criticised, but the violence I suffered was worse. I will not accept someone filming me in secret and then ambushing me. In that context, I would indeed do it again.”

Ah, the old “nonpology”. Textbook.
