Not that we wish to tread on BBC’s toes, but here’s their really rather good interview with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in full (a few snippets have been doing the rounds over the past couple of weeks), in which the PSG striker discusses his footballing career to date; from his lanky, ungainly beginnings at Malmo to his dream move to Barcelona “almost killing him” and winding up as part of the PSG project; as well as his perceived image.

Say what you want about the man but, boy, does he give intriguing interviews. So refreshing to see a footballer talk in completely unfettered terms about all aspects of his career, good and bad, instead of treading on eggshells for fear of upsetting anybody or having his quotes skewed.
