In which we see Neymar, such is his wont, adding yet another dribbly slalom wonder goal to his ever swelling portfolio of dribbly slalom wonder goals on his 200th appearance for Santos (he’s 20) against Ronaldinho’s Atletico Mineiro last night after playing for Brazil against Japan in Poland the day before…

It’s official, Neymar is faster than jet lag.

Is anyone not impressed with this kid?? Been following him all the way and he is just outstanding.

I believe he has what it takes to succeed in Europe. reminds me of how C.Ronaldo started but he’s more prolific from an early age. My only concern is of burnout. They parade him across the globe. Definitely needs some rest and protection.

Just to let you know I’ve been forced to watch one of your ads twice in the past 2 days even though they say you only need to watch 1 a month. Are these vids gonna pop up every day?

Thy’re not overly annoying, just that the whole 1 a month is clearly BS.

@Dave: We’re still bedding them in at the moment and getting the kinks worked out. Please try to be patient as we’re doing a fairly large overhaul of the site.

The ads are getting ridiculous. Not only are they really annoying but also targeted at the completely wrong demographic.

    @Joe

Couldn’t agree more, on every level.

This kid is something special, and so many want to try and nit-pick when it comes to Neymar.

I feel not even CR7 or the illustrious Messi could do some of the things he does CONSISTENTLY; in the video above, he flicks the ball behind him and megs the defender behind him…he does this quite often (with a lot of success), and honestly, when he pulls it off, I know 15-30 seconds later the opposition will be plucking the ball from the back of the net.

I fear the kid gets driven into the ground as well. That is a surefire way to pick up a lenghty injury. He is 20 years old and has already amassed 200 appearances for SFC?! That is a ton of football.

I pray he doesn’t go to Barca, City, RMCF, etc…but unfortunately, he is probably going to end up at Barca, City, RMCF, etc…

First touch is absolutely sublime. Nutmegs his defender with a backheel and then wins a 50/50 on his next touch. Probably wouldn’t get away with that against a formidable European team, but amazing nonetheless.

    Gotcha.

Can’t wait for the latest Debenhams AW line, looks fucking incredible and I will definitely be using Late Rooms now. Great how advertising works.

Anyway, keep up the great work, shame advertising are always happy to fuck things up and pay for the honor.

I haven’t gotten a single ad yet. Also its far easier to beat your average brazillian defender than it is to beat Vidic, Pepe or most of the defenders that play in Europe.

    I concur with JP

but I think the best thing for him would be to go to as big a club that he can get significant time on the pitch, and even better if its a more strong physical side to protect him. I’m biased as a Chelsea supporter but I believe he’d do really well with that squad

Its called chrome + adblock people. Seriously how has anyone not heard of it.
