Real Madrid did FC Basel a bit of a mischief in the Champions League last night, with most of the Galacticos getting on the score-sheet in a 5-1 trouncing.
Goal of the night, however, was scored by Karim Benzema – with the French striker putting a sublime finishing touch to a slick back-and-forth passing exchange with Cristiano Ronaldo on the edge of the box…
Oh lawdy, lawdy, lawdy! That was downright indecent.
Real Madrid’s 1,000th goal in European football too. Not a bad way to reach that particular milestone!
