David Moyes seems to be going down quite well at Real Sociedad this season, having transformed them from a colander-like leaky defensive unit into a fairly hard-to-beat (if only at home) little band of brothers.
That said, they did manage to drop points against struggling Deportivo last night, letting a 2-1 lead slip with ten minutes left to play to end the evening square at 2-2.
The goal that had Sociedad in front, however, was an absolute peach from Chory Castro – who applied one holy hell of a finish to Sergio Canales’ arching far-post cross…
Whoomp, there it is!
Who knows, maybe Señor Moyes might actually get around to committing Castro’s name to memory after that little corker?
